新交科坚持自主创新，注重提升科研成果转化应用能力，多项科研成果取得了良好的经济效益与社会效益。目前，拥有交通运输部认定的“干旱荒漠区公路工程技术交通运输行业重点实验室”、“新疆交通科学研究院博士后科研工作站”、“干旱荒漠区公路工程技术实验室”、“新疆工程学院教学、科研、实训合作基地”、“新疆公路工程技术研究中心”等8个应用基础研究基地。以公路沙害、雪害、盐渍土病害三大特色课题研究为代表，构建多元发展的科研服务体系，先后出色完成了国家、交通运输部、自治区交通运输厅、科技厅、人力资源与社会保障厅等下达的一系列重点科研攻关任务，取得了累累硕果——获得国家科技进步一等奖1项、二等奖2项，中国公路学会特等奖2项，省部级一等奖6项，二等奖15项，三等奖32项。

Xinjiang Academy of Transportation Sciences(XTRI) was found in 1980,belong to the Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region Transportation Department of science and technology enterprises.It is also the only comprehensive research institution in Xinjiang traffic transportation industry.
XTRI have many qualifications such as engineering consultation,engineering observation(engineering measurement, geotechnical engineering), professional class A,road engineering supervision etc..We are mainly engaged in transportation industry construction,operation,management,research of the maintenance filed,planning consultation,survey and design,testing evaluation,engineering,vocational training etc.,it cover a wide range of entire industry chain of transportation.
Since XTRI was found 37years,we uphold the "hard work, dedication, pragmatic, scale the heights" spirit of enterprise,core value of innovation.We serve the country, serve Xinjiang, service transportation industry as the goal,we fulfill society responsibility and industry responsibility actively.Mainly about the several problems of Xinjiang feature,such as outstanding problem,critical issue during traffic construction and operation management.We completed more than 160 research projects, winning more than 90 items (which won the 3items of national scientific and technological progress,first and second prize).In the engineering field with regional characteristics,about desert highway construction, disease treatment saline soil, snow guard etc.We have made a number of domestic, international leader in scientific research.
Nowadays,the National Human Resources and Social Security, the Ministry of Transport and Xinjiang Department of Transportation has been set up a post-doctoral research station in XTRI,about the key laboratory of highway engineering technology arid desert region in transportation industry, science and technology projects in Xinjiang traffic management center, energy saving projects in Xinjiang traffic management centers, Xinjiang Traffic Environmental Monitoring Center and a number of scientific research and talent incubation platform.We developing the advantages of scientific research, lead research and actively promote scientific and technological achievements into productivity,we have completed hundreds of the planning consultation about the transportation construction projects, survey design and project management,provide a strong technical support and scientific safe for the transportation development to provide a strong science guarantee and technical support, training a batch of talents.
